The Winton Connection
Winton Estate, stewarded by seven generations of the Taylor family since 1835, is home to Australiaâs oldest continuing Saxon Merino stud. Their innovative Poll Merino line (Flock No.âŻ1564), branded âJTW,â combines these timeâhonoured strains with modern breeding to deliver an 18-micron yarn that brings exceptional softness, strength, and vibrancy to Fiona Lynchâs Larapinta inspired collection, all grown on a sustainably managed Tasmanian landscape.Â
A Bit About Microns
The smaller the micron count, the finer the wool fibre will be. Wool typically falls in a range of 18â40 microns. These throws are made with supple 18-micron Merino wool, making them luxuriously soft, and the perfect cold weather companion.Â
Due to the nature of our products there may be some slight variation in sizing.Â
While we have done our best to photograph the colour accurately, colours may vary between monitors.
